A Missouri Branson Vacation has it all! No matter who is coming on this vacation, they are sure to be pleased. There are plenty of Hotels and Resorts on the "Strip" that are great places to stay, but since we want to do some boating while we're there, we found a few places just outside of town, on Table Rock Lake, that are sure to satisfy the need for Boating and outdoor fun and recreation as well as the closeness to all the excitement Branson has to offer.
This Resort has hotel rooms, studios, condos, and lake houses available for guests. Summer rooms start around $120, and they have boat slips you can rent for $20 a night.
They offer free wireless internet, 3 swimming pools, a waterslide, and free bikes, canoes, and kayaks. You can rent a boat or jet ski, or launch your own. The facility is well maintained and up to date. The staff is very friendly and personable.
Still Waters Lakefront Resort is located on Indian Point just a few miles from Silver Dollar City and Branson. A narrow road leads to the resort, that is pretty wind-y, so make sure you take it slow if towing and be cautious of on-coming traffic.
Whether you plan on Camping, staying in a hotel or a cabin, this place has it. You can tent or RV camp by the water. Rooms start around $105 a night but they offer an array of different discounts if applicable, and if you are towing a boat, you can rent a slip for $15 a night at the hotel dock. They do charge a $5 launch fee upon entering the parking area.
The marina has about anything you might need for a day on the lake. And you can rent waverunners, fishing boats or ski boats.
Included on the property is a Boat Ramp, Swimming Beach, Outdoor Pool, Volleyball Court, Fitness Room, and Free Wi-Fi.
Port of Kimberling Marina and Resort is about a half hour drive from Branson, with all sorts of attractions in between.
The town of Kimberling, where the resort is located is a small town of about 2,400 people, not a lot of restaurants, but they have chinese, a couple bar and grills, a Subway restaurant, and few others as well as a grocery store that's easy to get to.
With rooms starting at $75 a night, the Indian Point Resort has alot to offer. Oh, and that $75/night room, is actually a cottage with kitchenette. You can stay at the RV Park, in a Condo or Resort Unit, or a quaint Cottage or Cabin. They have a park and playgrounds, nature trails, slip rentals for around $15 a night, boat rentals, launch ramp, and every room has its own kitchen or kitchenette.
Indian Point Resort is also located on Indian Point, minutes from Silver Dollar City and Branson.
The resorts on at Indian Point are great, but Indian Point is not a town, it's more hotels, condos, and resorts. Not alot of restaurants nearby to grab a quick meal, so if you plan on choosing one of those, you may want to plan a trip to the grocery store to stock up on food while you're there. After all, a long day of boating often leads to hunger-and often times you just don't feel like having to hunt down some food afterward!
There are so many, it is hard to know where to start. The Shows that Branson will entertain you with, have everything from Comedy and Music, to Acrobats and Theatre. There is something for everyone!
There are several Golf Courses to take a shot at a few are Branson Creek Golf Club or the Payne Stewart Golf Club.
Check out Adventure Ziplines of Branson or The Track Family Fun Parks or an awesome cave tour-we like Talking Rock Cave.
Museums in the area are like none you've been to before, Titanic Museum, Gone With the Wind Museum, World's Largest Toy Museum, Hollywood Wax Museum, Haunted House and Monster Asylum, and Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Odditorium.
Acrobats of China Featuring the New Shanghai Circus and Cirque Montage are a couple of the Circus like attractions to see.
Love Theme Parks? Visit White Water in Branson or Silver Dollar City Theme Park also in Branson.
Visit Branson Ridge Winery or Mount Pleasant Winery for a taste of some local concoctions.
You can find almost anything to eat around town from sea food at Whipper Snappers to Italian at Florentina's, Chateau Grill to The Great American Steak & Chicken House. There are pizza parlors and buffets as well as famous fast food restaurants. If you have particular food preferences such as vegetarian or vegan try Botana's Mexican Restaurant-it's amazing, and they know what they're doing!
Shops range from Collectables to Jewelers, with book stores, antique shops, Shoe Stores, Craft Stores, Outlet Stores and Malls. There are plenty of different kinds of art to appreciate and purchase in town as well including pottery and paintings.
And Boating. Kayaking, Canoeing, Fishing, Jet Skiing, Hiking and Biking. Plenty of Recreation for all. Table Rock Lake is a gorgeous lake full of different arms to explore and beautiful scenery. The water is nice and clean and wonderful, and the other boaters are very friendly! If you've never been to this lake, it is a must for boating lovers.
